SHIPPING POLICY

Free shipping within New Zealand, Free shipping for international orders over $150 use code: FREESHIPPING

The Piece jewellery is hand-made to order and can require up to 2 weeks to produce jewellery items. After production when your jewellery is complete, your order will be shipped. If you require a rush on your purchase please contact us before placing your order online. Shorter production times cannot be guaranteed.

Once your item has been dispatched we will notify you by email and provide a tracking number, which can be used to track your purchase online.

Please note, The Piece is not liable for any late deliveries caused by the Post.


RETURNS POLICY

At The Piece we pride ourselves on delivering beautiful, quality, hand crafted jewellery.

To ensure you enjoy your Piece jewellery and online shopping experience, we will gladly offer an exchange or a Piece credit note (credit note value excludes postage paid) if you have changed your mind within 7 days of your purchase.

Kindly note, if you have changed your mind after purchasing pierced earrings, for hygiene reasons we cannot accept exchange or refunds.

Bespoke requests and all jewellery that has been customised to your requirements is final sale. 

To exchange or receive a credit for your purchase, The Piece jewellery must be returned in its original, unworn condition and carefully repackaged in the original & protective packaging. We will not exchange goods that have been worn or show obvious signs of wear. If the product is damaged, not in its original condition or show signs of wear, the product will be returned to the buyer at their own expense.

The Piece Credit Note, in the form of a gift voucher will be valid for twelve months. Please ensure you contact us within seven days of receipt to arrange a return. We do not issue refunds if you have simply changed your mind. 


EXCHANGE FOR SIZE

When ordering rings, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. 

You may exchange for a different size within 7 days from date of purchase

(14 days for International orders). 

Customers will be responsible for all shipping & re-shipping charges for exchanges.

We are not responsible for lost packages and we cannot issue a refund if your package is lost or damaged.


FAULTY ITEMS

All jewellery is carefully quality checked by The Piece, but very occasionally there may be a fault we didn’t find.

Please note that wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a fault. The Piece jewellery is delicate in nature and should be handled carefully. Items are entirely handmade and therefore there will always be some variations between them.

If you receive a faulty product, we will gladly repair, or exchange the original piece if the product was purchased within 6 months of notification. To notify us of the fault contact us and include the below information:

  • Your name & address
  • Proof of purchase
  • A photograph of the item with a description of the fault.

The Piece will respond within 5 working days and will advise how to proceed. 


REPAIRS

Repairs to damaged jewellery is assessed by case and may incur a fee.
